Jess: Well the football season is officially over for the Denver Broncos, and although it was a bummer, these guys still had a hell of a season. I couldn't be more proud of Eric and his accomplishments this year. I feel like these guys are just getting started, too. Eric was very sad and disappointed after the game because it ended so soon, but he quickly realized this was a killer season. That's him, and the guys should be proud of themselves! We will get 'em next year!
Eric: The 2012 season is in the books. Definitely not the way we planned to finish it, but a lot of great accomplishments were achieved. Looking back at the beginning of the season, starting 2-3 and going into halftime versus San Diego, there were a lot of questions about this team. Since that moment, the Denver Broncos created their identity and went on an 11-game winning streak. During that streak, we all grew closer as a team and more confident in our abilities, which made it the best year of football in my career. Unfortunately things didn't work out the way we visualized, but learning from experience and coming back hungrier next year is all we can control!
Jess: Now that the season is done, Eric gets to tag along with me! (lol) I like to slow things down during the season because Eric really likes to have me around to take care of him and feed him! I have a lot of recording to do to finish my album, and some cool things are in the works! Before we get started though, I know Eric wants to go on vacation to relax. Off to Mexico we go!!! So far, Cabo is our favorite place to vacation and relax. We love the food, culture and, of course, the beach.
Eric: Wherever the sun is, Jess and I will be there. After a long, grueling season an escape to warm weather and good food is refreshing. I agree for sure, Cabo is our spot. I am looking forward to seeing Jess in the studio and hanging out with her during her label trips. We have a very busy few months coming up and not to mention, getting married!
Jess: Oh yeah! That thing, the wedding! Haha. I am the worst bride. I keep forgetting about that part. Eric is lucky that I am not a bridezilla. I just care about the part where we say "I do" before God. I already feel like we are married, we just have such a wonderful life together already. The reception will be a blast though, Southern style of course: )
